Ana Jelušić
Ana Jelušić (1982)
Ana Jelušić is a dance artist and Feldenkrais practitioner. She received her dance education through the BA program Dance, Context, Choreography at HZT/University of the Arts in Berlin. She was part of the feminist choreographic collective Female Trouble with Roni Katz and Agata Siniarska, and collaborated with artists Alex Martinis Roe and Christian Falsnaes in Berlin. In Zagreb, she has worked with Robert Milevoj, Ana Kreitmeyer, Marko Gutić Mižimak, Rosalind Crisp, and Marjana Krajač.
She is the author of her own works Girl Like, Oh, and Vulnerable Bodies, collaborating with Nina Gojić, Marta Krešić, and Zrinka Užbinec. Ana is a recipient of the Tanzquartier Wien Werkstück residency program for young choreographers. She organized UPUH’s program “Encounters that are Missing – The Eye of the Gaze” (2024), focused on methodologies of viewing in performance practice. She also participated in the choreographic laboratory exscene: Koreoterapija, led by Anna Juren and Maria Francesca Scaroni.
In addition to choreography, she practices somatics through the Feldenkrais Method, trained in Vienna, and regularly leads Feldenkrais classes and workshops in Zagreb, Split, Šibenik, and other cities in Croatia. She is part of the SomaHut Study Group, a two-year Erasmus+ project in collaboration with the Interlace Symposium at the ImpulsTanz Festival in Vienna.
Before pursuing dance, Ana completed her studies in English and Spanish at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She continues her education in the Feldenkrais Method as well as other somatic practices. Ana is a member of UPUH.
