Marina Brajdić

Marina Brajdić (1997) lives in Zagreb, where she studied at the Ana Maletić School of Contemporary Dance, and then at the Academy of Dramatic Arts, University of Zagreb (BA Contemporary Dance – teaching program). After completing her studies, she went on a student exchange to the University of the Arts in Berlin (BA program HZT Dance, Context, Choreography). She is an associated member of the somatic and research platform SomaHut and the inclusive dance collective Divert. During her studies, she collaborated with a number of choreographers such as David Hernandez, Sanna Myllylahti, Anja Bornšek, Marjana Krajač, Sonja Pregrad, Milan Tomašik and Andreja Podrzdravnik. She is the recipient of the Dean’s Award (2024) and two Rector’s Awards for the projects Kontakt Impro Jam (2024) and Bubnjevi Kulture: Sexuality and Revolution (2016) in the category of scientific and artistic works.
